    Foaled April 3, 2008 @ 7:23 pm, this healthy, leggy, and elegant 2008 FHANA/FPS registered filly by Iron Spring Farm's Teade, now approved on offspring, and out of the ster mare, Wietske Janke V. has been a delight to have on our farm. Carlee has the looks and the movement that a Friesian is expected to have and will have lots of mane, tail, and feathering, just like her dam, sire, and grandsire, Anton. On August 8, 2009 at her first show,
Carlee won the 2 and under halter class at the Ohio State Fair Friesian Show,

  Last year we bred our ster mare, Wietske Janke V, back to Iron Spring Farm's Friesian stallion, Teade, who is now approved on offspring. That  healthy filly was Wietske's fifth foal, so she knew the routine and foaled quickly. My excitement was hard to contain, as I had been hoping for a filly this year.

    This filly is very strong, active, curious, bold, and extremely friendly. She has been regularly handled since day 1 and has been wearing a halter since birth and leads very nicely.
