The
house, a rancher with attached garage, sits in the middle of the
pastures, so we are surrounded by our horses and literally live in the
middle of a horse pasture! Before the ink was dry on the closing
documents, Thomas had removed the many overgrown shrubs around the
house with the exception of 2 on the east side. I had time to
transplant many of my perenials from the gardens at the Chambersburg
Farm before it was sold, so once the sod was removed around the entire
house, my landscaping was well on its way. But the crowning landscape
touch was Brad Weller's
water garden situated off the sunroom. When he moved the fish from our
Chambersburg water garden to Carlisle, the move of our farm and
household was finally completed. |
