From
birth, Spartacus has been handled daily and is already being exposed to
natural
horsemanship
techniques, so is developing play drive and respect, as well as is
quiet and
calm. He halters and leads well and is reasonably good for the vet and
farrier at this point in time [what can you expect from a colt less
than 3 months old?] He has been on creep feed since 1 month old and has
a good appetite; still nursing, he is currently turned out nights with
his dam, a 3 YO filly, his 2 YO full-sister, whom he pesters
relentlessly, and ocassionally a couple of older mares. He will be
weaned @ 4 months, since his dam has been bred back. His dam, Wietske
Janke V ster, is also the dam of Sjaantje Sport, the first North
American Friesian to earn a driving predicate title. He is a pure bred Dutch Friesian and is registered with the KFPS and FHANA Associations and has been microchipped. His keuring registration fee has already been paid and he is scheduled to go to the Lexington, VA, FHANA keuring, October 1, 2013. We can be creative with our sales agreement, and I will customize a sale that is tailored to your needs, as long as it is in the best interest of Spartacus. |

Spartacus'
personality is typical Friesian: he loves
people. Don’t miss the chance to
own this lovely, leggy,
young Friesian colt and bring him along to excel in the discipline of
your choice. Spartacus has a long neck, a lovely head, and a huge walk
overstep!
