Welcome to Dreams Come True Farm's 2023 Horse Show Results


    DCTF's Sjaantje & her 5 YO son, Hamilton,  showed together!  
   In his second year of training with Suzy Stafford, Solstice Farm, Hamilton wintered in Ocala to continue his driven dressage career and his pleasure show career, this season upgrading his vehicle to a spindle back road cart that had been his mama's first show vehicle! he nailed his 3 prelim dressage tests at the Black Prong Dressage Festival with scores in the 70%s, and his prelim 79% score at the USEF Black Prong CT was the high score of the event with a repeat at the Elk Creek CT & HDT (80% score).  His Lorenzo Driving Competition results were phenominal: dressage (72%) high score champion, SH 4 wheel vehicle champion, FHANA high point champion, and 2 & 4 wheeled vehicle Grand Champion! He went on to dominate the modern vehicle Orleton Farm division to be that champion and his prelim test score of 81.1% won the best score of the event award!
   After an intense year of FEI level training, Sjaantje and I needed to slack off a bit, so only scheduled the Devon, BreyerFest, and Orleton Farm events. Devon had to be canceled due to Thomas' heart surgery, and he was off the show circuit for the year. Because I had committeed to FHANA & ADS to exhibit at the 2023 BreyerFest "Driving Forward" event, and not wanting to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity, with the help of Patty Scarcelle, I was able to get to Lexington and participate in those 3 days of demonstrations. So thankful that I was able to have the BreyerFest experience! Thanks to Rhonda Gould's help, Sjaantje and I got to the Orleton Farm CT & Pleasure Show to compete in the Intermediate CT, American Heritage, Old Guard, and  Picnic Classes. It was a perfect show: 4 classes and 4 wins!
   In December we shipped Hamilton and Sjaantje's antique Studebaker carriage to Ocala for another year of training and showing with Suzy.
