This was Sjaantje's second
consecutive time entering the Devon Friesian Breed show. It needed to
be done to redeem her poor behavior from the year before--when
torrential downpours and very high winds that canceled the classes
after her class, made her a crazed, 2-legged animal--a side of her no
one had ever seen before. This year she was her normal self and showed
well during her in hand class, earning a 72.4% score and third place in
a class of 11 Friesians. With that excellent placing and good score, I
have retired her from Dressage @ Devon and am setting our 2012 sites on
the Dressage County Fair where she will be driven!
