We attended this show
because it offered so many carriage driving classes with a game plan
that
I would drive Sjaantje Sport in the amateur classes and trainer, Suzy
Stafford, would drive her in the open classes. Lots of fun quickly
trading places in the carts!August 16-18, 2013 I also made our debut in Period Costume, wearing Bobbi Jo Beck's gorgeous wedgewood blue and gold costume, and am proud to say I followed in her footsteps, winning that class. I really had to step up my riding game to top the professional riders in the class. This was the first show that we took two vehicles to: the Millcreek road cart for country driving and cones and the Carriage Machine Shop gig for carriage pleasure and turnout. I had no idea when I bought the road cart that I would be buying additional vehicles and many hats;-) |
