We attended this event so
Sjaantje & I would get to do a driven dressage test--something I
had wanted to do for a very long time. The first time I saw driven
dressage, I was blown away with its beauty and elegance, not knowing
that someday I would be out there performing a test, but as I started
to drive, I secretly wished for the opportunity. Yes, if you hang on to
them and do not give up, dreams come true. I was really looking
forward to doing the dressage test, Sjaantje enjoys doing cones, and
the marathon was not the part of the CDE that I was looking forward to
other than never having done one before, but it was the most
exhilarating section.Please

a 3-5 second halt and a 2-4 step reinback |

I would not have done as well in the marathon as I did without Suzy Stafford as my navigator, because she not only helped me choose and learn my routes through the obstacles, but she also kept track of my times and urged me to keep Sjaantje moving briskly along. |
